To become a member of Delaware Valley Synergy, you must be at least 21 years of age, and first attend an Orientation. At this meeting, you will learn more about Synergy, and have the opportunity to meet some of our members in a relaxed social atmosphere. The Orientation usually takes about 2 hours, including social time and presentation. There is a $10.00 registration fee (for single or couple) to attend the Orientation. Of course, you are not under any obligation to join.
The purpose of the Orientation is two-fold:
1. We believe it's important to outline the core values which we all, as members, embrace and live by.
2. We believe it's important that you understand and agree with our core values, and are sincerel committed to embrace and live by them, as well.
After all, it is this sharing of a common set of values which makes DVS a such highly unique social group. It's the reason our members feel safe to share and explore intimate parts of themselves, in DVS. It's the reason we find it so easy to make new friendships, that can last a lifetime.
Because we place a very high value on honesty, we accept only those who have the informed consent of their partners. If a prospective member is in a committed relationship (married or unmarried), we require each partner to attend an orientation, even if one partner chooses not to join the group. Liars and cheaters are niether welcomed nor tolerated in DVS. Violations are grounds for immediate termination of club privileges and membership.
At the end of the Orientation, you'll find yourself with one of two outcomes:
1. You may find that you don't share our core values. Or, you may feel (for whatever reason) that DVS is not right for you. Maybe you're just not quite sure, yet. No Problem. Just say so. You won't hurt our feelings. We know that DVS is not for everyone. We promise you'll never be put under any pressure to join. It's your choice. We respect that.
OR
2. If you like what DVS has to offer, and share our core values, you may wish to become a member at this time. You'll have the opportunity to complete an application form and pay the membership dues of $50, prorated to January 1st. Once that's done, you become a Provisional Member.
Provisional Membership continues for six months. During this period, we will have the opportunity to get to know each other, better.
At the end of your six month provisional period, you will be invited to become a regular member, unless anyone in our membership has voiced objection to your behavior.
The following January, your dues will be the same as everyone elses:
$50.00 per year for couples and/or singles.
All Provisional and Regular members receive password protected access to the members only portion of our website. This area gives you important, up-to-the-minute information, including DVS news and upcoming events, member contact information, discussion boards, and many other items of interest to our members.

If you register for Orientation, but do not attend within 1 year, your sign-up information will be purged from our invite list.
